The Self-Study
Programs applying for accreditation must prepare a Self-Study Report to demonstrate
the extent to which the program meets the Accreditation
Standards and Criteria.
The process of self-study represents the combined effort of the governing
organization administrators, nursing education unit administrators, faculty,
staff, students, and other individuals concerned with the nursing program. All
those associated with the program should participate in the self-study process.
Broad participation leads to an understanding of the total program.
The Self-Study Forum
The Special Session
A special session covering a specific topic is offered before the first day of the Self-Study Forum. The session is free to all registered participants of the Forum. Those planning to attend a session must indicate so in the online registration form. Attendance is not required.
