NLNAC is seeking nominations for five (5) Commissioners and one (1) member of the NLNAC Nominating Committee. We are requesting your assistance in identifying candidates for these positions.
Commissioners and Nominating Committee members are elected for three year terms by the membership of NLN. Commissioners may serve two consecutive terms. The following positions will appear on the 2010 election ballot:.
Five (5) Commissioners:
Three (3) educators representing diverse program types accredited by the NLNAC. Candidates must be from an NLNAC accredited program.
One (1) nurse administrator/ clinician from nursing service. Candidates must be employed full-time in nursing in a non-educational setting. Candidates may have a faculty appointment as an adjunct or clinical faculty.
One (1) member of the public. Candidates may not have any connection to the discipline of nursing or to a nursing education program.
One (1) member of the NLNAC Nominating Committee:
One (1) member of the NLNAC Nominating Committee. Candidates must be from an NLNAC accredited program.
