CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
NLNAC Board of Commissioners and NLNAC Nominating Committee

The NLNAC is seeking nominations for four (4) Commissioners and one (1) member of the NLNAC Nominating Committee. We are requesting your assistance in identifying candidates for these positions. Commissioners and Nominating Committee members are elected for three year terms. Commissioners may serve two consecutive terms. Under the NLNAC Bylaws, there must be two candidates for each position on the ballot.

The following positions will appear on the 2011 election ballot:

• Three (3) educators representing all program types. Candidates must be from NLNAC accredited programs.
• One (1) nurse administrator/representative from nursing service. Candidates must be employed full-time in nursing in a non-educational setting. Candidates may have a faculty appointment as an adjunct or clinical faculty.
• One (1) member of the NLNAC Nominating Committee. Candidates must be from NLNAC accredited programs.

If you are interested in serving on the Commission or Nominating Committee, please send a copy of your current resume/CV and a letter indicating interest to the NLNAC office by January 31, 2011. If you would like to nominate a colleague, please provide the name and contact information, and the NLNAC staff will follow-up with the individual.
